More About Tinian V., Mashed-foods Manager

Tinian grew up in Truckee and had never even heard of composting until college. While studying for her Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Language and Culture at UC Berkeley Tinian was introduced to composting. She remembers when her little cousin came to visit her and excitedly taunting her with an un-cared for, maggot-filled compost bin. That was the beginning of Tinian’s love for compost. After several years of working seasonal outdoor education jobs and dabbling in farming where she could, Tinian decided to return to the Reno/Tahoe area where she is focused on peddling her little heart out to reduce waste in the Biggest Little City in the World.
